Vicki sings with the Pasadena Symphony under the direction of Maestro Larry Blank along with vocalists David Burnham and Susan Egan. This annual concert for the community features the Pasadena Symphony and POPS, and the JPL Chorus on the steps of Pasadena’s City Hall, and celebrates music from Broadway, the movies, and the Great American Songbook. Vicki sings "A Children's Traditional" on Composer/lyricist Charles Bloom's debut recording, "Music and Lyrics by Charles Bloom: IN HERE" just released by Sonic Landscapes. The recording was produced, orchestrated and conducted by David Snyder. It features an 18-piece orchestra, with Bloom’s original compositions sung by a collection of the American Musical Theater’s brightest stars including, among others: Jill Paice (Rebecca), Nikke Renee Daniels (Porgy and Bess), Christine Ebersole, John Dossett (Newsies), David Burnham and Howard McGillin.
Charles Bloom’s diverse and admired song catalog includes cabaret, pop, country, jazz and special material. His cabaret/revue works have been heard in venues all over the world. Among the long list of artists who have previously performed or recorded songs are: Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin, Michael Feinstein, B.D. Wong, Cheyenne Jackson, Andrea Marcovicci and Julie Reyburn.

NYC is gearing up for Born for Broadway! The third annual Born for Broadway benefit is taking place on Monday, May 21st at the American Airlines Theatre. Born for Broadway, a one-night-only celebrity cabaret, is the brain child of Reeve Foundation friend and volunteer, Sarah Galli. Sarah’s brother Jeff sustained a spinal cord injury similar to Christopher Reeve’s after a diving accident in 1998.
Tony nominated director, Marcia Milgrom Dodge is joined by this year’s hosts Julie White (“Transformers,” “Little Dog Laughed”) and Tony Goldwyn (“Ghost,” ABC’s new hit series “Scandal”).
